How To Apply For Your Homestead Exemption in New Orleans


The Orleans Parish Assessor has specific requirements to qualify you for the Homestead Exemption. To file for your Homestead Exemption, you may be required to provide proof that you reside in the purchased property. We recommend that you contact the Assessor for full instructions. You must renew your Homestead exemption every year. Ask the Assessor to provide renewal information. The Assessor can be contacted at the number provided below.
